Strategy
Strategy is the direction your organization will take. Strategy defines the markets you serve, the value you bring, and the competitors you face. All five components of the Star Model are interrelated and important to the success of the organization. However, strategy drives all the other aspects of your organization's effectiveness, so strategy is the best place to start our work together. If your strategy is sound, well documented, and well-communicated to everyone in your organization, then we will look at any obstacles to the implementation of your strategy. These obstacles wil be found in one of the other four remaining areas of the Star Model.
If your strategy needs development in meeting any of the criteria of being sound, well documented, and well-communicated, we can work together to address that need. What LEAD Professionals brings to the Strategy component of organizational effectiveness are tools that measure the degree of organizational alignment, and a strategic planning methodology that starts by defining (or clarifying) your organization's vision. The end result of the strategic planning process is an Organizational Action Plan that describes who is going to do what, when, and why. At the end of the strategic planning process, employees will understand where the organization is going, what their role is in making that happen, and what's in it for them.
